Twitter Branding
Tweet, Retweet #PersonalBranding
It is very important to utilize Google searching and indexing as a Twitter brand. It is strongly encouraged to have an active Twitter account to stay engaged with a variety of topics associated with your brand. Creating a twitter page for both personal and professional use prevents you from alienating personal friends by using one single account for professional use.
“I actually find Twitter to be the most useful and fun Social Platform because you can follow anyone you find interesting, and easily interact with an open dialogue with people such as best-selling authors, insurance CEOs, business experts, and people you simply find fascinating.” (Paradiso. 2015).
On the opposite of Facebook, you want to follow brands and professional figures who interest you and can share insight and knowledge that your brand agrees with and let individuals follow you. Twitter also gives the opportunity to share pages, articles and information from outside of Twitter with your followers, including your own work, other professionals, and new trends for topics you represent.
Hashtags in your posts create engagement with those who search for them, Twitter Lists help find the top users for your brand’s target audience, and retweets offer positive feedback chances for your network. These responses create opportunities for you to show your knowledge and are a great source of customer service (Gilbert. 2017). Always respond to messages positively and quickly.
