Facebook Branding
Share Your Brand, Get the Likes
Facebook is one of the main platforms that everyone utilizes on a personal level to connect with family and friends across the world that we don’t see every day. Professionally, however, it is a tool that can share your topic of interest from other pages and professionals or updates on trends and news. To create the divide between personal and professional, you should have a page for your brand that can connect to others in the field or groups that surround the topics your brand stands for.
As communications and marketing professionals, you need to network with individuals to create conversations and gain insight into the topics your brand shows. Connecting with groups on Facebook help spread your brand name and connect with those beyond your main network. “Many brands and businesses focus on their Facebook Page as the main place for activity, promotions, and posts” (Gilbert. 2014).
Being active on Facebook creates long-lasting relationships for a growing professional. Images connecting to your brands, such as logos and other graphic designs, are important in standing out among the vast amount of other pages you will connect with (Gilbert. 2014). To reinforce your identity, utilize professional graphic designers if you are not comfortable designing yourself.
